Labor union calls Facebook a monopoly to spin off WhatsApp and Instagram

Facebook may have grown to a point where it’s to bigger for its own good areas. Or anybody’s matter.

The formidable U.S. media and communication labor union works for America, it also adding fuel to that point of view, its just joined freedom from the Facebook league, which is appealing the Federal Trade Commission to break the power of Facebook.

According to the Blazoned website, “Facebook has too extensive power over our lives and democracy. Now it’s time for us to take that power back.”

The social activities groups demanding process and move on civic action wants the FTC to separate with Instagram and WhatsApp as divided companies, elsewhere from Facebook’s control.

According to CWA Communication Director, Beth Allen told that the groups were worried about the social media giant’s growing power. And labor union is not only one with such an interest.

Also Facebook already under the microscope of government investigation from the FTC for its Cambridge Analytica data scandal incident, right now there are dozens of lawsuits against the social media giant.

Before this kind of things get any better for Facebook, but they’ll probably get injured, at least from the legal viewpoint.

The CWA also has a lawsuit against the Facebook of its privacy and policy, the company targeted job advertisement lead to the age of discernment. The other technology company could offer the group a large platform for the union’s legal war against Facebook.

Allen said, “We have been looking nearly to Facebook and the coalition that was forming was interesting to us because of that we wanted to be able to more light on this age-discernment issue.”

Make sure regulators are doing what they can to limit Facebook’s power and also assure that Facebook is not engaging in any discernment behavior.

We will see the FTC fragment the monolith, but it’s far from the first time Facebook has been charged with being a monopoly. Mark Zuckerberg said when he questioned about the Congress issue in April, “it certainly doesn’t feel like [a monopoly] to me.”

The other list probably differently growing and it may ultimately enhance to the point where Zuckerberg can’t just casual to discharge them.
