The software giant Microsoft is planning to push the notification to Windows 7 users and warning them about the future end of support. As well Microsoft will stop supporting the Windows 7 on January 14th, 2020, and the company will start waning to the consumers next month.

Microsoft’s end of support means the company will not provide any security updates to the Windows 7 and Office 2010, and the company recommended to consumers to upgrade Windows 10 PCs and Office 365.

Although the notification won’t mention particularly upgrading to Window 10, Microsoft will warn of the date of support, alongside the site will encourage consumers to upgrade to Windows 10 or build a modern PC. The other hand Microsoft has informed from its persistent notifications during the free Windows 10 upgrade period, and the Windows 7 users will be able to select “do not remind me again” so the notification never sees it again.

Microsoft says the notification will only be displayed a “handful” of times during 2019, and the notification will permanently stop once Windows 7 support ends in January.

Earlier this year, Windows 10 passed Windows 7 market share, and Microsoft’s latest operating system is continuously running on more than 800 million devices. The company’s goal installed over 1 million devices, and Windows 7 consumers clearly upgrade to Windows 10 with security milestone.
