According to the media report, Apple has possibilities to block third-party repairs on the 2018 models of MacBook Pros and iMac Pros, it’s mandatory for the Apple device which one diagnostics for positive repairs and at least completed.

On Thursday, the MacRumors reported the result isn’t running of the Apple diagnostics devices that inoperative system and an incomplete repair.
The necessity applies to repairs including the display, Touch ID, logic board, keyboard, battery, trackpad and also speakers on 2018 MacBook Pro and iMac Pro but it refers to the logic board and flashes storage repairs only.

But in case of Apple device diagnostic only limited to the internal use like Apple stores and Apple Authorized Service Providers, another side the repair shops without Apple certification may not be able to repair any kind of Apple devices like iMac Pro and 2018 MacBook Pro.

This demand of “T2 chip” that used in these devices, which connected to the system management controller, audio controller, image signal processor with solid-state-drive (SSD) controller. Besides of that from the report another feature like “Secure Enclave” co-processor for secure boot, authentic Touch ID and encrypted storage.
