Google News app needs a huge amount of data in the background

Google News is munching up a huge amount of data in the bug.

According to the report from The Verge, Android consumers have complained about the issue since May, actually the app mystically downloading gigabytes of mobile data in background.

In September, a Google community manager admitted the problem when the unsatisfied users reported, their 24GB data usage in the background. Its charges about high amounted hundreds of dollars.

Besides of that some of the users said, Google News app set up to “download via Wi-Fi only” but it still the bug.

The solution to this problem, users switched off background data app, which isn’t necessary. Waiting for Google response to fix this issue.

The Google spokesperson said, “we apologize for this trouble, this issue making problem to our users, we are looking into inside the problem and as soon as possible we can fix it.”
